Stan Soloway has announced plans to leave the Professional Services Council after 15 years as president and CEO of the trade association that represents several government contractors.
Soloway said Wednesday he will continue to serve in his roles until the organization finds a replacement and begins the transition process.
Anne Altman, general manager at IBM and member of the PSC’s executive committee, will lead a search panel to find Soloway’s successor.
“During the last 15 years, Stan has been an extraordinary leader for PSC, greatly expanding the association’s reach and scope and taking it to new heights,†said Ellen Glover, executive vice president at ICF International and chair of the PSC’s board of directors.
“At the same time, we respect his decision and greatly appreciate his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition.â€
During his tenure at PSC, Soloway helped oversee the association’s purchase of the TechAmerica Foundation and two other institutions.
Prior to PSC, the Roback Memorial Award recipient served in President Bill Clinton’s administration as deputy defense undersecretary for acquisition reform.
