BAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary has partnered with MBDA for its support in marketing BAE’s Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System laser-guided missile in Europe.
The companies said Wednesday MBDA will take the lead role in the joint marketing campaign.
David Harrold, director of precision guidance solutions at BAE Systems Inc., noted that the partnership will work to create a channel that manages the demand for APKWS in the European market.
“The system is suitable for a wide range of rotary and fixed-wing platforms and complements our existing portfolio,” said Paul Mead, group business development director at MBDA.
