The U.S. Army has awarded Engility Holdings a potential 32-month, $14 million task order to provide program management and technical support services for the service branch’s Product Director Automated Movement and Identification Solutions initiative.

Engility said Tuesday the PD AMIS program covers acquisitions of products and services related to the Army’s Automated Identification Technology, which is designed to help manage logistics operations and monitor defense assets worldwide.

The recompete contract has a base term of eight months and two option years.

“The men and women of Engility have proudly supported this vital Army program for more than a decade, and we are very pleased that we will continue this long-standing partnership,” said Tony Smeraglinolo, president and CEO of Engility and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 list for 2015.

The Army’s program executive office enterprise information systems oversees the PD AMIS program.
