The U.S. Air Force plans to issue a contract for research and development work on a live, virtual and constructive mission training platform for warfighter readiness activities.
The AF Research Laboratory wants to build and demonstrate an LVC training toolset that can operate with various computer networks and architectures, the military branch said in a broad agency announcement published Aug. 21 on FedBizOpps.
The R&D program’s areas of emphasis will be distributed mission operations, human-machine teaming, synthetic agents, personalized learning, teammates and modeling, fourth- and fifth-generation tactical training, integrated combat operations, C4ISR, gamification and medical operations.
The solicitation was issued as unrestricted and is open to small businesses.
