HEBCO has ordered a new multi-purpose display from IEE for the U.S. Air Force’s F15E Strike Eagle program.
IEE will produce a 6×6 display system to replace the cathode ray tube in F15 cockpit displays, IEE said Tuesday.
“We choose IEE because they have been qualified and fielded on a military fighter aircraft and have a developed product identical to our production configuration needs with only slight modification to the frame,†said Joel Ward, program manager at HEBCO.
IEE is scheduled to deliver the display systems in early 2016.
