The U.S. Army has begun its search for a product manager electro-optical and infrared payloads system engineering, configuration and logistics services from industry.
In a request for information released Monday, the Army has sought potential sources that can operate and sustain existing systems fielded in the CENTCOM operational area, configure PSDS2 systems, train contractor and government personnel and manage PSDS2 systems inventory.
The government plans to award an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in the second quarter of fiscal year 2016 with a three-year ordering period.
The PSDS2 full motion video system and architecture collects video from sensors and transmits it into a centralized location for surveillance, video exploitation dissemination and archiving tasks.
Raytheon is the current provider of EO/IR engineering maintenance, configuration management, procurement and integration support.
