ThreatConnect has unveiled a new tool designed to help companies develop, share and host applications intended for threat intelligence data gathering.
The company said Wednesday it deployed the TC Exchange and toolkit for software development as part of its Threat Intelligence Platform.
TC Exchange aims to allow users to make changes to applications and exchange codes with other developers through an open-source architecture.
“So much of the debate around the value of threat intelligence and, similarly, threat intelligence platforms comes from a lack of understanding,†said Adam Vincent, chief executive officer of ThreatConnect.
“When you fully understand what a platform should be, you will see the limitless potential of threat intelligence to shape decisions across all levels of the enterprise,†he added.
ThreatConnect will also introduce new applications intended for triage, malware analysis, integration and analytics by the third quarter of this year.
