Red Hat has named Carahsoft Technology its 2015 Public Sector Distribution Partner of the Year for supporting sales of Red Hat products and services in the public sector.
“We value our relationships with our public sector channel partners and the award winners who were chosen based on their success delivering innovative open source solutions to customers,” Paul Smith, vice president and general manager of Red Hat’s public sector business, said in a statement released Tuesday.
Carahsoft received the award at the 2015 Red Hat North America Partner Awards in Florida.
The company said its business relationship with Red Hat began in 2005 and has brought previous awards, including recognition as the Red Hat Public Sector Distributor of the Year in 2014 and Red Hat Premier Training Distributor Partner of the Year in 2013.
