Hewlett-Packard and Intel have formed a partnership to establish a new center in Grenoble, France to provide engineering and technical support for enterprises as they deploy platforms to manage big data and analytics operations.
HP said Monday it will combine its Apollo server-based High Performance Computing Solutions Framework with Intel’s Xeon processors, Omni-Path interconnect platform, Xeon Phi line of processors and Enterprise Edition of Lustre software under the alliance.
The center will give clients an environment collaborate with independent software vendors and technical professionals and use offerings from both firms to process large-scale data workloads.
HP and Intel will also set up a new center in Houston to provide assistance to North America-based clients.
