Honeywell International has received a five-year, $41,432,253 award from the Defense Logistics Agency to produce radar altimeters for the U.S. Army’s avionics equipment.
Federal civilian agencies will also use the APN-209 radar altimeters under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
Honeywell will perform work in Arizona through July 14, 2020.
The radar features an LED digital altitude display, integrated indicator receiver and transmitter, remote indicator receiver/transmitter, dual bus interface and an altitude voice warning system.
