Cyveillance-Cyren Partnership Aims to Mitigate Phishing Attacks; Greg Ogorek, Lior Samuelson Comment

QinetiQ business unit Cyveillance will integrate Cyren’s platform with a service that seeks to protect commercial networks from malware, pharming and other phishing attacks under a multi-year agreement.

Cyren’s Phishing Intelligence Feed platform collects real-time data on phishing activities worldwide through its Cyber Intelligence system that works to screen at least 17 billion transactions on a daily basis, Cyveillance said Monday.

Greg Ogorek, senior director of cyber security operations at Cyveillance, said Cyren’s offering intends to quickly detect new phishing campaigns and offer “unique detection of many attacks.”

Lior Samuelson, CEO and chairman of the board at Cyren, said the company “continuously updates the threat collection and analysis capabilities of its global Cyber Intelligence platform to deliver the best detection to our security-as-a-service customers and our partners.”
