Hitachi Data Systems Corp. has introduced new services in the healthcare, information technology and data analytics areas in an effort to help those industries address IT challenges.
The company added the live insight for IT operations, clinical repository for connected health and live insight center of excellence to its social innovation portfolio, Hitachi said Tuesday.
Kevin Eggleston, senior vice president for social innovation and global industries at Hitachi Data Systems, said the services leverage Hitachi’s spectrum of technologies and insights from its family of companies.
The live insight for IT operations is a cloud-based machine-to-machine analytics tool intended to help clients examine data related to enterprise applications, data storage and sensors in their data center in order to determine the cause of outages.
Hitachi’s clinical repository for connected health is an integrated platform designed to store, preserve and retrieve clinical and nonclinical data.
Customers will work to develop, customize, test and deploy data analytics applications, platforms and services via the Hitachi live insight center of excellence with its single point of coordination, Hitachi says.
