A Maximus subsidiary has been awarded a five-year contract to oversee a program for helping Australian job seekers and companies meet their employment needs.
Max Solutions will run the Australian Department of Employment’s jobactive service, which is meant to replace the Job Services Australia program and slated to debut in July, Maximus said Tuesday.
Richard Montoni, Maximus CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015, said the company has helped place more than 280,000 job seekers in Australia over the past six years.
The contract also calls for Max Solutions to facilitate the Work for the Dole placement initiative in 14 of the program’s targeted 50 regions across the country.
Maximus said it has worked with community-based and nonprofit organizations as a coordinator of Australia’s workfare program since last year.
