Pragmatics has received several task orders worth a total of at least $1 million to provide the U.S. Air Force with Enhanced 911 systems under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 2 vehicle.
The company said Monday it will engineer, test and integrate E911 systems for Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina.
Joe Brock, Pragmatics chief operating officer, said the E911 functions work to deliver “force protection for airmen, their dependents and their coworkers on Air Force installations servicewide.”
Pragmatics will partner with Black Box Network Services to implement the emergency systems at the identified Air Force facilities.
E911 supports calls from commercial wireless sources and wireline extensions and from private branch exchange wireline extensions at airbases as well as routes those calls through a Public Safety Answering Point, Pragmatics said.
