Jessica Pantages Nielsen was appointed to her current role as vice president for marketing and communications at Lockheed Martin in May 2013 following ten years of strategic communications experience.
At Lockheed’s information systems and global solutions business unit, she manages the communications and marketing team’s annual strategic plan and is also part of the senior leadership team.
Prior to joining Lockheed, she held leadership roles in the fields of communications and public relations at Dell, BAE Systems and General Dynamics.
She was included in PR Week’s 40 Under 40 list in 2013 and PR News’ Top Women in PR in 2014.
Nielsen is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators and American Marketing Association.
She holds a bachelor of science in human and organizational development from Vanderbilt University, and a master of science in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University.
