The U.S. Defense Department has chosen WBB to receive the agency’s Nunn-Perry Award for the company’s work to mentor a woman-owned small business.
WBB collaborated with Ohio-based information technology firm Edaptive Computing under the DoD Mentor-Protege program, WBB said Monday.
“WBB believes the true success of this program is the long term relationship and continued growth we see with Edaptive as we continue to provide DoD high quality service,” said Robert Olsen, chief operating officer at WBB.
Anju Chawla, CEO of Edaptive Computing, said the partnership has sought to help the company address requirements of defense customers.
Reston, Virginia-based WBB has assisted multiple small business participants in DoD’s mentor-protege initiative over the past six years.
