VMware has received certification under the government’s Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to provide cloud services to public sector customers, Data Center Knowledge reported Wednesday.

VMware’s partner Carpathia provides the government cloud service from its data centers, according to the report.
The government intends for FedRAMP to procure cloud services based on a list of pre-evaluated vendors, Sverdlik reports.
VMware integrates its data center for individual customers and multiple tenants, the report says.
