Global spending on maintenance, repair and overhaul services for military ground vehicles is projected to show steady growth over the next 10 years, according to a new Visiongain report.
Visiongain said Monday it forecasts that investments in military land vehicle MRO programs worldwide would reach $7.4 billion this year.
The research firm also predicts military organizations will sustain MRO expenditures for their ground fleets to maintain operational readiness through 2025.
BAE Systems, DynCorp International, Elbit Systems, General Dynamics, Science Applications International Corp., Textron Systems and Thales are among the contractors profiled in the report.
Visiongain says defense companies who aim to expand in the military ground vehicle MRO market should pay attention to procurement dynamics, security demands and doctrinal changes.
