Lockheed Martin has renamed Sim-Industries into Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training and appointed Sandy Samuel as vice president and general manager of the organization.
Samuel succeeds Jeffrey Wood, who will move to a new leadership position within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the company said Monday.
Jon Rambeau, VP and GM of Lockheed Martin training and logistics services, said Samuel will help to drive the commercial aviation business forward and deliver training capabilities to clients worldwide.
Samuel previously served as operations VP for Lockheed’s information systems and global services civil line of business.
Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training will provide aviation training products and services for the Boeing 737, 767, 777, 787 and Airbus A320 and A330/340.
