Engility Holdings Inc. has won a $50.7 million contract to continue its technical, management and analysis services work for the John A. Volpe Transportation Center.
Engility will develop, evaluate and manage programs within the Federal Aviation Administration’s air traffic systems directorate for 18 months, the company said Thursday.
The company will aid in air traffic management and system upgrade work under the En Route Automation Modernization and Terminal Automation Modernization Replacement programs.
The programs are components of the FAA’s Next-Generation Air Transportation System initiative to migrate air traffic control from ground-based radars to satellite-based and digital technologies.
