Red Hat and ProphetStor Data Services have partnered to offer ProphetStor’s software-defined storage products and services to their joint customers.
ProphetStor joined Red Hat’s OpenStack cloud infrastructure partner network to integrate its Federator services into the Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack platform, ProphetStor said Monday.
“We’re pleased to have ProphetStor join us in the Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure Partner Network,” said Mike Werner, a senior director at Red Hat.
“To help customers get the most out of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack platform and our open hybrid cloud solutions, we work closely with technology companies like ProphetStor that provide powerful and complementary solutions,” Werner added.
ProphetStor’s Federator products work to provide physical storage discovery and abstraction, centralized management, automated storage provisioning functions and monitoring and scheduling of resources.
