CGI Federal has won a potential five-year, $50.3 million contract to provide project management and IT support services for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command‘s data center consolidation program.
The company said Wednesday that it will support the Navy Data Center and Application Optimization program, which aims to consolidate the U.S. Navy‘s 61 legacy websites and 5,614 servers.
James Peake, CGI Federal president, said SPAWAR aims to refresh its IT infrastructure through the program.
Contracted services will occur mainly in California, South Carolina and Louisiana and include information assurance; systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation; logistics; configuration management; training; and production.
CGI said it has supported SPAWAR programs for almost 20 years.
