Steve Lubniewski serves as vice president and industry leader for the defense and intelligence business unit within the public sector organization at IBM‘s global services segment.
He leads a team that works with defense and intelligence agencies on projects related to enterprise resource planning, cloud computing, business analytics, consulting and new technologies along with IT infrastructure operations support.
In a prior stint at IBM, he served as director of postal systems for the company’s federal systems division and led the company through its entry into the mail-postal systems market.
Prior to his current role, Lubniewski held several positions at Lockheed Martin during his 18 years there and his most recent position at that company was president of enterprise solutions and services.
At Loral Corp., Lubniewski served as vice president and program executive for the U.S. Army’s sustaining base information services program.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Lubniewski also completed engineering management and international studies at MIT, along with business management from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
