CA Technologies has updated its unified infrastructure management offering in an effort to help customers monitor critical information technology assets.
The company rolled out updates to the tool’s analytics, alerting and cloud monitoring systems for users to avoid problems through predictive identification of threats in performance, CA said Thursday.
“CA UIM’s scalable, end-to-end monitoring capabilities help IT organizations and service providers stay ahead of potential infrastructure issues that could impact customer experience by enabling staff to proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance of their critical IT services,” said John Smith, general manager of enterprise management at CA.
The company intends for IT departments to be able to detect persistent performance issues and eliminate false alarms.
CA also designed the analytics updates to help clients track performance within their Amazon Web Services infrastructure.
The company also introduced new features to the CA UIM Snap such as time-to-threshold-analytics, historical alarm views and updated reporting.
