Alion Science and Technology will provide the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane in Indiana with engineering, quality assurance and project, configuration and data management services under a potential five-year, $34 million contract.
The company said Tuesday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers services and associated test equipment in support of the Polymer Engineering and Underwater Sensor and Logistics branches of NSWC Crane’s Platform and Launch Systems Division.
“We believe our capabilities are a good fit to help GXP meet their objectives, and the relationships we share with NSWC Crane’s stakeholders and customers provide us with the insight to support their goals,” said Greg Bryant, senior vice president and manager of Alion’s integration solutions group.
Other contracted services include acquisition, development, production, test and evaluation; software and design engineering; and maintenance and sustainment of various U.S. Navy platforms.
Alion will also receive support from partners Advanced Automated Corp., Claxton Logistics Services, Logis-Tech, McKean Defense Group and Rite Solutions.
