MicroPact has been awarded a contract with the Government Accountability Office to offer the agency’s Forensic Audits and Investigative Service division a product to use as a criminal investigative case management platform.
The company said Thursday FAIS will use entellitrak to manage civil and criminal investigations on fraud, waste and abuse of public funds and help standardize its investigative process.
“Investigations are complex and rarely move through a system in a predictable pattern,” said Kris Collo, MicroPact founder, president and CEO.
“Because of this, case management solutions that can dynamically adapt to emerging information and conditions better serve agencies than more traditional rigid process-centric systems.”
According to the company, entellitrak leverages its “Data-First” case management approach and has been supporting at least 30 other federal agencies.
MicroPact said it expects the platform to help enable process transparency and help GAO and FAIS in decision-making, resource management and quality assurance.
