ContractsDeltek expects three federal agencies to launch solicitations for recompete contracts worth almost $30 billion combined in the next three months, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

Ashley Bergander, research manager at Deltek, writes the contract vehicles from the Air Force as well as the departments of Energy and Veterans Affairs will be open to both large and smaller companies.

The Air Force’s Contract Field Team Maintenance contract is worth up to $11.4 billion as well as contains three base years, two two-year options and another six-month option period.

Selected contractors will work with military organizations to maintain aircraft and related systems such as communications, missile, data processing, cryptologic and ground support equipment.

Bergander says the bidding process could start in October.

VA will hold a recompete for the next iteration of its Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Program, covering system or network integration products and support services.

The potential 10-year, $12 billion contract is up for grab in November.

DOE’s Energy Savings Performance contract has a potential ceiling value of $5 billion over 10 years and is meant to help federal agencies save money by implementing energy conservation measures.

The agency could start accepting proposals in December, according to Bergander.
