Science Applications International Corp. has expanded its cyber offerings that aim to address data security threats facing U.S. government and commercial organizations.
The company employs more than 350 cybersecurity staff who provide information technology consulting, engineering and operations support to customers in the public and private sectors, SAIC said Monday.
“We utilize our cyber experience to help protect those heterogeneous infrastructures and we have the flexibility to work within customers’ existing processes to maximize results,†said Doug Wagoner, SAIC sector president.
“Helping our clients anticipate and respond to cybersecurity threats in this hyper-connected world is one of our top priorities,” Wagoner added.
The firm’s cyber professionals are trained to handle security incidents, perform technology compliance tests, operate network operations centers and monitor both on-premise and off-premise IT environments, according to SAIC.
The company also offers security-as-a-service platform or deploys its certified security employees to work within a client’s infrastructure.
Charles Onstott, vice president and manager of SAIC’s cyber, cloud and data science service line, said the company plans to release a new integrated cyber offering this summer.
