Norm Laudermilch, former chief information security officer of Verizon‘s Terremark division, has joined Invincea as its first chief operating officer and will report directly to Anup Ghosh, the company’s founder and CEO.
“Norm’s proven track record in scaling both security start-ups and mature companies makes him an ideal partner in executing our market disruption strategy for fundamentally changing the way endpoints are protected and our customers secured,” Ghosh said Monday.
Laudermilch also served as Terremark Federal Group COO during his time at Verizon, chief technology officer of Trust Digital and vice president of VeriSign and Symantec.
He also co-founded the Internet Security Advisors Group and Internet Service Provider Security Working Group and was information security global director at UUNET/MCI WorldCom and advisor to FBI‘s Computer Crime Squad.
