DynCorp International and the U.S. Army‘s Red River Army Depot have inked a public-private partnership agreement to integrate the company’s land systems life-cycle support capabilities with RRAD’s depot-level operations.
Michael Herrington, vice president of operations for DynGlobal Group, said Tuesday that the new agreement makes his company better able to handle surge requirements, due to the utilization of the U.S. Army’s vehicle depot systems.
A former ammunition facility in Texarkana, Texas, the 14,000-acre RRAD now also serves as a supply storage and tank repair facility and handles the remanufacture of road wheel and tracked vehicle systems.
