LMI_logoPat Tamburrino Jr., formerly chief of staff for the Defense Department‘s Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, has been appointed director of the business development team at government consulting firm LMI.

Bill Moore, LMI executive vice president, said Wednesday that Tamburrino has experience leading  large and complex organizations.

A career member of the Senior Executive Service through his work with the DoD, Tamburrino has previously worked in financial, program and human resource management, technical oversight and strategic planning.

He has also held other leadership positions within the DoD and the Department of the Navy during his 38 years of public service.

The U.S. Navy veteran is a recipient of the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive and Distinguished Executive.
