Defense Sector Vet Cindy Moran Elected to NCI Board

Cindy Moran, former director of network services for the Defense Information Systems Agency, has joined NCI Inc.’s board of directors.

She was elected to the position at the enterprise products and services provider’s annual stockholders’ meeting last week, NCI said Friday.

Moran serves as president and managing partners at telecommunications consulting firm Pikes Way.

Previously, she spent 30 years in program management and, later, senior-level roles in the public sector, including her time at DISA leading a 700-strong workforce tasked to design and sustain the Defense Department’s information systems networks.

“We are very pleased to welcome Cindy to the board,” said Charles Narang, NCI chairman and CEO.

“As the dynamics of the industry have changed, Cindy brings a fresh perspective and keen insight into emerging technologies and trends in our core IT market.
