ORBCOMMÂ has moved its network control center to a new facility in Sterling, Va. from the hub’s former location in Dulles.
Marc Eisenberg, CEO of ORBCOMM, said Wednesday the company intends to use the new innovation and network control center to help further its business expansion strategy.
“This state-of-the-art facility allows us to bring together key engineering, product development, customer service, sales, and marketing capabilities,” Eisenberg added.
ORBCOMM has leased a more than 27,000-square-foot complex at Loudoun Gateway in Sterling, Va., where Kane Construction is building ORBCOMM’s new innovation center.
The network control center is built to manage ORBCOMM’s satellite constellation and terrestrial networks worldwide and will be the site for the first OG2 satellite launch in May.
