Kofax Ltd. has introduced a new business intelligence and analytics software offering for customers to view and analyze large volumes of operational data.
The company’s Altosoft subsidiary developed the Insight 5.0 for operations such as distributed in-memory architecture, continuous simulation and managed data discovery, Kofax said Monday.
Scott Opitz, Altosoft general manager, said the tool is intended to help clients gain insights into an organization’s business processes.
Insight 5.0 features MapAggregate for growing data volumes and distributing data across servers, as well as Continuous Simulation for predicting business processes based on the gathered operational data.
Altosoft also intends for customers to install, update and manage the software from centralized servers and for users to access client applications via a Web-based interface.
Information technology departments also have administrative rights to control user access and define the data being delivered to users, Altosoft says.
