Derrick Sturisky has been appointed to serve as a principal in the risk advisory group of Cherry Bekaert LLP, an accounting and consulting company.
Sturisky will assist in providing enterprise risk management and operating frameworks services to the company’s clients, Cherry Bekaert announced Thursday.
Sturisky will also work closely with the company’s manufacturing, transportation, energy, consumer goods and financial services clients.
“[Sturisky] brings a unique set of skills that will help our clients in better identifying, evaluating and responding to strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks which is foundational to successful execution of their long-term growth strategies,” said Scott McKay, Cherry Bekaert national leader of risk advisory group.
Most recently a partner at a publicly traded, global management consulting firm, Sturisky has more than two decades of management consulting experience.
