Rod Day, formerly Iron Mountain acting chief financial officer, has been named executive vice president and CFO at the company.
Day will be responsible for accounting, external reporting, financial planning and analysis, internal audit, investor relations, tax and treasury operations, Iron Mountain said Tuesday.
Al Verrecchia, chairman of the Iron Mountain board of directors, said Day will also work to oversee the company’s financial strategy as Iron Mountain aims to grow its storage rental business and seek business opportunities in emerging markets.
Day joined the company in 2008 as CFO Europe and later served as senior VP and CFO International before moving into the acting CFO role in November 2013.
The 25-year finance veteran previously held various positions at AOL Europe after working on senior strategic planning and finance functions at Kingfisher Plc.
