The American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council honored the winners of its 14th annual Excellence.Gov awards on Monday to recognize several information technology programs launched within the past year for the government.
There were 31 finalists from 17 public sector agencies that competed for seven titles and were evaluated by 40 judges during a three-stage process, ACT-IAC announced Tuesday.
ACT-IAC selected National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke’s Parkinson’s Disease Biomarkers Program for the overall winner distinction.
Basic and clinical researchers, research study participants, healthcare professionals, information technology experts, caretakers and individuals with Parkinson’s disease participated in that program.
Other winners were selected in the categories related to customer experience, digital government, enterprise efficiency, health IT, intergovernmental collaboration and pilots and start-up projects.
