The C4ISR group of DRS Technologies Inc. has won a supplier excellence award from Northrop Grumman, which DRS said recognized the sensitive programs support DRS has provided to Northrop’s information systems sector.
Winners of the Northrop Grumman supplier excellence award, which also included Harris Corp., were judged based on five factors: schedule, management, technical acumen, financial discipline and quality, the release noted.
DRS Technologies was selected for the award for its consistent high performance rating for eight consecutive quarters, the Finmeccanica Company subsidiary announced Feb. 17.
“This honor clearly demonstrates the value of excellent customer service, transparent relationships, building trust and building partnerships,†said Terry Murphy, DRS Technologies chief operating officer.
