NJVC has partnered with the InfoSec Institute to offer information security courses that are designed to meet cyber workforce training requirements set by the Defense Department.
The Infosec Institute develops hands-on lab and online curricula to help IT professionals manage cybersecurity threats and prepare them for certification exams, NJVC said Tuesday.
“Having a well-trained cyber engineering workforce should be a goal of all organizations focused on protecting customer data and intellectual property,” said Lynn DeCourcey, NJVC vice president and general manager of cybersecurity.
“NJVC is committed to educating all customers and end users and raising the industry awareness of how cyber training can be used to reduce risk to IT systems,” said Rich Griffin, channel sales director at InfoSec Institute.
NJVC will resell InfoSec-designed course portfolio that includes boot camps and specialized trainings intended to raise the skill level of data protection employees.
