Jacobs Engineering Group has received a contract for an undisclosed amount from the Delaware Department of Transportation for various system support work, Jacobs said Tuesday.
Jacobs will help plan event and incident management as well as conduct homeland security inspections, evaluations and reviews of current infrastructure.
“We are very pleased to receive this award from the Delaware Department of Transportation and look forward to supporting them in meeting their homeland security and event management goals,†said Kevin McMahon, vice president at Jacobs Group.
The technical professional and construction services company will also provide other engineering, training and implementation services through the contract period that will end in 2018.
