Cybersecurity firm IID has rolled out a collaborative intelligence platform for public and private sector organizations to exchange threat information and coordinate incident response strategies.
ActiveTrust features a data governance architecture intended to help an ecosystem of prescreened users control what, when, where and to whom they want to share data, IID said Tuesday.
“Much like cybercriminals have leveraged intelligence exchanges to carry out their attacks, ActiveTrust provides the ‘good guys’ with their own sharing networks to gather information vital to fending off attacks,” said Lars Harvey, CEO of IID.
According to IID, the platform is built to standardize and convert disparate sources of information into actionable threat intelligence.
The technology works to integrate feeds, applications and analytics and is built to help both government and enterprise customers discuss cybersecurity best practices through a social network, IID says.
