Lockheed Martin and the Tennessee Valley Authority will be working together to encourage industrial and commercial entities across the southeastern U.S. to invest in clean energy.
Lockheed’s energy solutions business will offer smart energy management, systems engineering and operations support services to TVA and utilities through the program, Lockheed said Wednesday.
“We will manage incentive programs to help these local power companies capture cost savings by increasing energy efficiency in their operations,” said Roger Flanagan, director of energy services at Lockheed’s information systems and global solutions civil business.
The program is intended for utility customers in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Lockheed’s Nashville-based team will facilitate and monitor the sustainability projects for clients.
