Modern Technology Solutions Inc. and GuardTime have unveiled a new keyless signature infrastructure appliance that is intended to gather threat intelligence and help users respond to incidents.
GuardView Videri is built to comply with security standards set by the Defense Department and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the companies said Monday.
Jim Blom, president of Guardtime USA, said the company created the GuardView Videri appliance in an effort to implement KSI and to meet cloud computing requirements for working on networks owned by the Pentagon and intelligence agencies.
Blom added commercial service firms are also increasingly wanting to acquire turnkey KSI tools that are configured to work under DoD standards.
The new appliance is comprised of software and hardware components that seek to help evaluate reliability of digital assets, detect advanced persistent threats, identify insider threats and prevent data losses.
GuardTime aims to provide users contextual threat intelligence for end-point integrity, mobility and technology supply chains.
