Kevin Humphreys, former senior manager of financial planning and analysis at information technology services provider Dovel Technologies, has joined GRSi to serve as the professional and technical services company's director of finance. GRSi said Friday Humphreys will be responsible for team supervision on tasks related to financial reporting and analysis, pricing and customer invoicing.
Virgin Orbit’s LauncherOne rocket deployed 10 small satellites into the target orbit for NASA’s Launch Services Program as part of its second launch demonstration. The company’s carrier aircraft Cosmic Girl with the two-stage rocket lifted off from Mojave Air and Space Port in California on Sunday.
OneWeb has now raised $1.4B in total funding after it received additional investments from Hughes Network Systems and SoftBank Group. Cypress International has appointed Guy Beougher as vice president for Department of Defense (DOD)/federal logistics, supply chain and energy. Beougher currently serves as the deputy director of the Defense Logistics Agency's Logistics Operations and will begin his new position at Cypress on Feb. 15, the company said Friday.
Blue Origin, a space company owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, used a capsule with updated crew systems during the company's 14th mission with the New Shepard rocket.
