Leidos to Help Air Force Develop High Power Electromagnetic Sources - top government contractors - best government contracting eventLeidos has won a potential five-year, $38 million contract to research and develop high power electromagnetic sources and components for the U.S. Air Force.

Two bids were submitted to the Air Force Research Laboratory for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The company will perform work at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico and is scheduled to finish Jan. 4, 2022.

The Air Force obligated $257,156 in research, development, test and evaluation funds for the initial task order under the IDIQ contract.
