Executives from nine companies that secured spots on the General Services Administration’s potential 15-year, $50B Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract vehicle for telecommunications services called on potential agency clients to have a holistic view of their requirements and provide a space for industry innovation, FCW reported Monday.

David Young, CenturyLink’s senior vice president for strategic government, told FCW in an interview published Friday that the company expects agencies to start awarding task orders soon to contractors with authority to operate under the General Services Administration’s 15-year, $50B Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions vehicle. CenturyLink has become the first vendor to secure an ATO on the EIS contract for telecommunications and information technology services.
