Huntington Ingalls Industries has concluded initial sea trials for the U.S. Navy’s future USS Delaware submarine, SSN 791.

Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Newport News Shipbuilding division and the U.S. Navy have completed repairs of the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier's propulsion plant.

Maxar Technologies announced on Friday that Carolyn Pittman, a former executive of Northrop Grumman and Huntington Ingalls Industries' Newport News Shipbuilding division, has been appointed senior vice president and chief accounting officer for Maxar. Her appointment is effective Aug. 7.
