Retired U.S. Navy Adm. James Winnefeld has joined the federal advisory board of communication security technology provider SpiderOak Mission Systems. The nearly four-decade military veteran will be part of a group that aims to help SpiderOak align business pursuits and product development efforts with government customer requirements, the company said Wednesday.
MoreCarahsoft Technology and SpiderOak's mission systems subsidiary have partnered to offer federal agencies a suite of tools designed to secure user communications and collaboration through zero knowledge encryption. The partnership will offer the CrossClave file sharing platform through Carahsoft's reseller network and position on NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V vehicle, the company said Wednesday.
