Razorsight CEO Charlie Thomas believes communications service providers have an opportunity to position themselves as key players in the cloud market by utilizing insight and infrastructure to meet user needs.

Thomas told VanillaPlus magazine that CSPs can leverage cloud app-driven data and predictive analytics to gain knowledge on cloud user needs and behaviors.

“I think CSPs are in the best place of anyone in the entire [cloud] ecosystem to use the data to deliver proactive, superior customer experiences,” he said.

He noted that an open systems approach could help them establish ubiquity in their services and facilitate the monetization of their data.

“CSPs will benefit greatly by utilizing predictive analytics to forecast likely demand and behavior with a very high degree of accuracy as they accelerate along the path of all things cloud,” Thomas added.
