RSA has supplied the Department of Homeland Security with an enterprise-grade platform meant to provide user visibility into potential threats to federal information technology systems, GCN reported Wednesday.
William Jackson writes that DHS chose RSA’s Archer visualization tool to manage governance, risk and compliance activities under the government-wide Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation initiative.
Archer will serve as a CDM dashboard and seeks to gather data from sensors at civilian organizations across the government, Jackson reports.
DHS intends for agencies to leverage the platform to spot network vulnerabilities and mitigate security threats, according to Jackson’s article.
The RSA GRC technology is built to comply with the Federal Information Security Management Act.
